The Garden

The gardens at the Beach House were designed by John Winter’s wife, an accomplished landscape gardener. They were designed with grassy mounds to protect the house from the elements and provide a degree of privacy. They also attract a wealth of wildlife.

The gardens to the rear are sheltered and private and there is a large lawned area which is great for picnics or games. There are sun loungers for relaxing and sunbathing. There is a wooden table for alfresco dining and cafe tables under the veranda providing shade in the summer months. A small path through the pine trees and wild roses leads to the perfect spot for evening drinks overlooking the sea. The sunrises are spectacular. There is another pathway with a gate leading down to the beach.
